Below is an example of a presentation tool that I created using ThingLink. This is a website that allows the user to upload an image of their choosing and embed links that relate to their topic. The presentation that I created relates to the story The Three Little Pigs. The objective of this lesson is for the students to be able to compare and contrast different versions of this story. For each section of the image, I embedded a video that showed three different versions of the story. I found that this website was very easy to use and create the different documents. The user can add links to not just videos, but also websites and articles. This allows the students to be able learn about the given topic but the teacher has narrowed down the selection of text or resources that the student can use. This would be a great tool to use when the students are responsible for a research project. The teacher can create a ThingLink that pertains to each research topic and can attach the websites, articles, or documents that they fill the students will benefit most from. This will also eliminate the students having to search on the web and having the chance of ending up on an inappropriate website.
